Text Messaging Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to anyone who receives text messages sent by ADAPTIVE TECH INC ("Adaptive Tech") on behalf of a law firm.
- Program description. When you enter your mobile number on a law firm's intake page and agree to receive text messages, or give the firm your consent to be contacted by text, Adaptive Tech sends messages on that firm's behalf: a secure link to complete your intake, reminders while your intake is unfinished, and updates about your case, such as notice that the firm has answered a question.
- Cancelling. You can cancel the text messaging service at any time. Reply STOP to any message. After you send STOP, you will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to you. To receive messages again, reply START, or enter your mobile number on the firm's intake page again.
- Help. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, Reply HELP to any message, or email support@adaptivetech.com.
- Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Rates and frequency. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
- Privacy. How we handle your information, including that text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Terms of Service for Law Firm Customers
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (these "Terms") are a binding agreement between ADAPTIVE TECH INC, a Florida corporation ("Adaptive Tech," "we," "us," or "our"), and the law firm or legal services organization that registers for or uses the Services ("Customer," "you," or "your"). By executing an order form that references these Terms, clicking to accept, or accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. The individual accepting these Terms represents that they have authority to bind the Customer.
If you have signed a separate written agreement with Adaptive Tech covering the Services, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.
2. Definitions
"Services" means Adaptive Tech's software-as-a-service platform that collects intake information from prospective and current clients of law firms, organizes and delivers that information to Customer, and enables continued communication between Customer and End Users, together with any related applications, tools, and support.
"End User" means an individual who submits information through the Services, including prospective clients, clients, and their representatives.
"Intake Data" means information submitted by or collected from End Users through the Services on Customer's behalf, including contact details, case descriptions, documents, and communications.
"Customer Data" means Intake Data and any other data, content, or materials submitted to the Services by or on behalf of Customer or its End Users.
"Order Form" means an ordering document or online sign-up flow specifying the Services, subscription term, and fees.
3. The Services; License
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Adaptive Tech grants Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right during the subscription term to access and use the Services for Customer's internal business purposes, including gathering intake from End Users, reviewing intake information, and communicating with End Users.
Adaptive Tech may update, improve, or modify the Services from time to time, provided that no update will materially reduce the core functionality of the Services during a paid subscription term.
4. Text Messaging Program
The Services send text messages to End Users on Customer's behalf under the Text Messaging Terms and Conditions above. An End User enrolls by entering a mobile number on Customer's intake page and agreeing to receive text messages from Customer via ADAPTIVE TECH INC, or by giving Customer consent to be contacted by text before Customer initiates an intake. Messages are limited to a secure link to complete intake, reminders while an intake is unfinished, and updates about the End User's matter, including notice that Customer has answered a question. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
An End User can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and can get help by replying HELP or emailing support@adaptivetech.com. Customer will use the Services to text only End Users who have consented as described above, and will honor every opt-out.
How ADAPTIVE TECH INC handles End User information, including that text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties, is described in the Privacy Policy.
